EARTH-FAULT LOOP IMPEDANCE TEST & TAG
Earth-fault loop impedance testing measures the total impedance of the fault current path and verifies that each protective device will operate within the disconnection times required by AS/NZS 3000:2018 Table 2.5 — 0.4 seconds for final circuits. This test is mandatory for new installations and is also recommended as part of periodic inspection to AS/NZS 3017:2007.
